Treat web citations as untrusted input. Add provenance scoring, strict source allowlists you can audit, and immutable evidence snapshots alongside answers so you can see what the model actually used. If your system doesn't do those three things, it is amplifying whoever optimizes for LLMs, not whoever is truthful.
