Shorter cert lifetimes are an operational hazard more than a cryptographic one: Let’s Encrypt’s 64‑day default mainly increases pressure on your renew-and-reload pipeline. You should not rely on the previous 90‑day grace; update any hardcoded cron dates to renew at ~two‑thirds of lifetime, grep your repos for 83/80/60, test renewals and reloads in staging, and add automated reloads plus renewal alerts so failures surface before clients break.
